What is your dream?
2015 – Journey to Warm Heart
Ying and her cousin, Mew, were brought to Warm Heart in the spring of 2014 by their elderly grandmother who was trying to care for three young grandchildren.
Since her dad is not around and her mom works as a farm laborer she was left with her grandmother and her younger sister with an aunt in another village.
Ying’s little sister will start at Warm Heart May 2015. Ying and her sister are both members of the “family” of Warm Heart kids who live here year around.
At Warm Heart, Ying most appreciates being able to play with her many friends. In her free time she likes to draw and is often running around the children’s homes sporting her favorite pair of fuzzy pajamas.
Ying’s favorite color is light blue.
Her teachers say she is a hard worker and always on her best behavior. She loves to learn and constantly requests volunteers to read her English books from the classroom library.
Someday Ying hopes to become a teacher in a big city.
